About MyHomeAssociation

Built by someone who was doing your job.

Our Story

For eight years, I managed the records for our own estate here in Accra, watching it grow from around 50 homes to close to 120. Somewhere in that growth, spreadsheets stopped being enough.

We tracked CAM and CAPEX fees, along with every estate expense, across a patchwork of spreadsheets. Reconciliation became a recurring headache. We could never get a truly clear view of who owed what, and for how long.

Year-end was the hardest stretch of all, trying to match bank statements, mobile money records, WhatsApp messages, and Google Sheets into one version of the truth.

Eventually I stopped looking for a better spreadsheet and built the system I actually needed: one place where every home's dues, payments, and records lived, accurate and visible to everyone who needed to see them.

That system now runs our estate, all 120 homes of it. MyHomeAssociation is that same platform, built for every Executive Committee doing this work the hard way, so yours doesn't have to.

The Person Behind the Platform

Dr. Hammah brings almost thirty years of marketing and leadership experience across financial services, investment management, and AI technology in Ghana and Canada, including a decade as Group CMO at Databank Financial Services and fifteen years at Invesco Canada. She holds a PhD in Business Administration and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance, credentials that shape how MyHomeAssociation treats governance: built into the system, not bolted on.

MyHomeAssociation isn't her first platform. As Founder and CEO of GradePoint AI, she built an AI-powered academic assessment tool that now frees university lecturers of up to 90% of their grading admin, work recognised with the Global Women in Marketing AI for Impact Award in 2025.

What We Believe

Transparency Isn't Optional

Every homeowner deserves to see the same numbers their committee sees. Trust starts there.

Governance Should Be Built In, Not Bolted On

Good intentions aren't a system. Approvals, sign-offs, and audit trails should be part of how the platform works, not a policy nobody enforces.

Practitioner-Built, Not Vendor-Guessed

This platform exists because it was needed, by a real committee, solving a real problem, before it was built for anyone else.

Every Estate Deserves This

Financial clarity shouldn't be a luxury reserved for estates large enough to afford custom software. It should be within reach of any Executive Committee ready to leave the spreadsheets behind.

MyHomeAssociation started with one estate. We're now bringing the same system to Homeowners Associations and residential estates ready to leave spreadsheets, WhatsApp threads, and guesswork behind, for something their whole community can trust.
